Aka Dake in Rossland

The sushi is better than chop sticks with slightly better prices. The food was fresh, and hot (lunch box a). It was also very filling. Have been here twice, and definitely expect to go back soon. The service staff were key, so friendly and answered any questions that arose. Great joint.

Amazing sushi!

Food was actually pretty tasty.... Service... Deplorable. We waited forever for the girl to come back and ask us how we were doing after we had finished eating and eventually had to wave her down because catching eye was impossible. From across the room she asks us what we want. No girly, come to the table, that's how service works. She seems put out when we ask for another roll. Might go back next time I'm visiting the area, but will check who's working before I commit to sitting down. (If she has a jacket around her waste... That's her)

Best Sushi

In my top 3 for the worst sushi I've ever had. I had a hard time paying my tiny $25 bill after choking down soggy rice surrounding the micro pieces of prawn and crab inside my rolls. Never again.

Moving from Vancouver, we were sure to miss sushi. But aka dake really hits it! Yes it's a bit more expensive than we are used to in Vancouver, but that's to be expected. Got takeout today and 50 bucks fed three of us. Thanks for hitting the spot, aka dake!

I Have traveled all over and I love sushi ...lived in Rossland for 6 weeks...tried this place twice..quality is good...but so overpriced and small portions ..they have clearly cornered a market and can charge what they please...not worth the price ...but when there are no other options and the sushi craving comes calling ..it is what it is...be be better if they had more combo options with slightly bigger portions...I will not be back.

I eat here 2-3 times a month. Always friendly service, and really fantastic sushi. A little bit expensive for takeout, but you get what you pay for and this always tastes very quality. It's nice to have a sushi place in Rossland.

They lathered everything in wasabi, after explicitly asked for no wasabi. And they forgot one dish in ordered, and charged for.

Amazing sushi for being this far inland. Really doesn't get any better than this unless you travel closer to the Pacific.
